HIGH HOLIDAYS
Beth Adam Adult Choir
As the High Holidays quickly approach, the Beth Adam Adult Choir is gearing up in preparation for this year's services. If you like to sing, the choir would love to have you on board (especially sopranos and men!). There is a mandatory rehearsal for all choir members on Sunday, August 22 at 1:30 PM, and another mandatory rehearsal on Monday, August 23 at 7:00 PM for those singing at the Rosh Hashanah service. If you or anyone you know is interested in participating, please email Shari Lauter ( mailto:admin@bethadam.org), or call (513) 985-0400..

Bakers Needed
Beth Adam welcomes all willing bakers and volunteers to help with our onegs. If you would like to bake, provide other food or decorations, or help before or after these events during the High Holidays, please contact the office at 513-985-0400, Joanne Girty (who is coordinating the children’s oneg), or Aline Simon (coordinating the adult onegs). You may also send an email to admin@bethadam.org. We ask our food contributors to specify what they're bringing and, if possible, to bring items in batches of two dozen. Please note, the Children’s Oneg must be peanut-free.

RELIGIOUS SCHOOL
A Short-Term Teaching Opportunity
We're in search of a 7th grade teacher for just one trimester (8 weeks). The curriculum will cover either history or prejudice. You'll have everything you need to teach, including a very detailed curriculum. If you have any interest in this rewarding position, please contact Rabbi Baum.

SUPPORT REMINDERS
Kroger Cards and Online Purchases
Beth Adam wants to remind you about fundraising opportunities that you can achieve just by making normal purchases. By using Beth Adam's Kroger Card, 4% of all purchases made with the card will go to Beth Adam. You can obtain a card in our office throughout the week, and the cards can be used at one of Kroger's 3,000 locations to buy anything from groceries to gas, and can also be used in Kroger pharmacies. The card is also great way to buy graduation gifts this year, such as gift cards from over 60 retailers available at Kroger. Another way to support Beth Adam and OurJewishCommunity.org is to shop at Amazon.com. First go to either http://www.bethadam.org/ or http://www.ourjewishcommunity.org/. From either site click on the “Shop Amazon” link and begin your online shopping as always. Earn money by simply “clicking through” to Amazon from our websites, Beth Adam and OurJewishCommunity.org.
