Climate Change Movie

Please join us for an online viewing of Anote’s Ark and a follow-up discussion with Mike Roman, a Cincinnati-based climate activist fighting for the rights of island nations.

Anote’s Ark is a 77-minute documentary about the Pacific Island nation of Kiribati, whose 4000 year old culture faces imminent annihilation from sea-level rise. Their story is told through the voices of two people: Kiribati’s president, Anote Tong, as he works to find a new home for his people and Tiemeri, a young mother of six who migrates to New Zealand to protect her family.

Online Viewing available: May 13th – 20th
