Shabbat Services

Congregation Beth Adam offers different Shabbat service experiences.  Our Shabbat Service that begin at 8:15 PM includes the reading of Beth Adam's original liturgy and a conversation among those present led by Rabbi Robert Barr.  Prior to the service at 8:00 PM, there is a short kiddish (sharing of challah and wine) when people can chat and meet one another.

"The Gatherings" begin at 6:30 and are inter-generational from the youngest to the oldest of our community.  Following a meal (typically pizza and side dishes) adults and children participate in an interactive Shabbat Experience.  These services include music, singing, drumming and other activities.  Concluding by 8:00 PM, these services are wonderful for all ages to come together and celebrate Shabbat.

For those who cannot attend our bricks and mortar Shabbat Services, Beth Adam's regular streaming Shabbat Services are only a click away.  While Beth Adam's bricks and mortar services are twice/month, our streaming services are every Shabbat at 6:00 PM (Eastern Time).   You can join Rabbi Barr and others from around the world for streaming Shabbat services.  You can watch the services live or in the archives for viewing at your convenience. If you participate live, you can "chat" with others who are also attending services.  Rabbi Barr is always excited to have other rabbis, clergy, and educators participating in services with him. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to celebrate Shabbat even as you travel.
